The ideal candidate should possess 3
years experience in workers' compensation, personal injury and criminal matters.
Litigation experience is preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word Suite, Calendaring, Judicial Website, Workers' Compensation Website, organizational and time management skills, are required, along with understanding and maintaining confidentiality.
The candidate should have fluency in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Research legal issues and provide summaries of relevant information.
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
Maintain and organize client files.
Draft correspondence to clients and other parties involved in the case.
Schedule appointments with clients and other parties involved in the case.
Gather evidence to support the case.
