Intern - Electrical Engineering Systems (Millstone Power Station)

Job Summary
Millstone Power Station (Nuclear) located in Waterford, CT is looking for an Electrical Engineering intern to work in its Systems Engineering department the summer of 2019. Job duties will include:
Development of technical documents to evaluate equipment failures and other plant conditions.
Evaluation of equipment performance trends including field walkdowns.
Development of minor design changes to support station reliability improvements.
Support development of major design changes to support long-term station reliability improvements.
Support station departments with technical input on a variety of equipment-related concerns.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Must be able to follow instructions and be a team player
Must have strong verbal and written communications skills
Education Requirements
Must be currently enrolled full-time in an ABET accredited Engineering program at a four-year college or university
Prefer Electrical, Computer, Electronics, or Power Engineering
Must have a 3.0 GPA or greater
Must have an anticipated graduation date between May 2020 and May 2021.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
